Privacy policy
Last updated October 19, 2026. Tutoredu LLC.
This page explains what we collect on this website and how we use it. We keep it short and plain.
What we collect
When you sign up for the free checklist, we collect:
- your email address, and
- your state, only if you choose to share it.
That's all. We do not ask for your name, your child's name, or any information about your child. Please don't send us your child's records or personal details.
Who stores and sends our emails
Email signups are stored and sent by Kit (Kit.com, run by ConvertKit LLC), our email service. When you submit the form, your email address and optional state go straight to Kit. Kit handles them for us to send our emails, under Kit's privacy policy. Like most email services, Kit may record whether our emails are opened or their links are clicked.
Why we collect it
We use your email address to:
- send you a confirmation email first, then the free checklist, and
- send you occasional IEP-prep tips.
We use your state, if you share it, only to send you information relevant to where you live, such as news about the Illinois Edition.
Unsubscribe anytime
You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. You can also email us and ask us to remove you.
We don't sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
Hosting and no tracking scripts
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, run by Cloudflare, Inc. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare may process basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. This website has no tracking scripts and no advertising cookies.
The kit itself
If you buy the kit, you buy it on Etsy. Etsy's privacy policy covers your purchase. The kit files stay on your own device or in your own account. We can't see what you type in them.
Children
This website is for parents and caregivers. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from or about children.
Questions or requests
To ask a question, or to ask us to delete your email address, write to tutoredu@mail.grokbot.com.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
